Why We Made This Shop

I didn’t start this shop because I had a perfect business plan or a burning desire to follow trends. I started it because I was done with design work that felt like sleepwalking — corporate templates, vague direction, and clients who punished you for not reading their minds. I wanted out.

So I built something real. Something loud, weird, thoughtful, chaotic, and honest.

This shop was my lifeline when I was raising a small kid on my own and needed to create something that mattered. Not just to me, but to anyone out there who’s ever felt like they had to water themselves down to be accepted.

This shop has been through a lot since I first launched it in 2008 — different names, different formats, a whole lot of trial and error. I used to do everything by hand: design, production, customer service, you name it. But what it's grown into today? I’m damn proud of that.

I design what I actually want to see in the world — gifts that aren’t mass-produced garbage, shirts that make you laugh out loud, and journals that don’t feel like homework. I partnered with other small businesses who are damn good at what they do: people who care about quality, ethics, sustainability, and originality.

That means when you shop here, you’re not just buying from me — you’re supporting a whole micro-network of artists, makers, and print shops who are all in this for the same reasons: freedom, creativity, and making stuff that doesn’t suck.
